Discover All Tours
From the heart of the Italian Alps to the majestic Dolomites,
this 11-day Perfect Duo Tour offers an unforgettable cycling
adventure combining challenging climbs, breathtaking landscapes,
and authentic Italian culture.
Starting in Bormio and continuing to
Cavalese, riders conquer legendary passes like Stelvio, Mortirolo,
and Gavia, as well as scenic Dolomites loops including the Sellaronda
and Marmolada circuits. Along the way, participants enjoy stunning
alpine views, farm-to-table Italian cuisine, and hiking opportunities,
making each day a memorable journey of sport, discovery, and Italian heritage.
Perfect Duo crosses Italian Alps on a moderate difficulty route, starting in the area of Bormio, in the heart of the Alps, crosses Dolomites and finishing in the beautiful Cavalese, surrounded by iconic landscapes.
The trip lasts a total of 11 days, with 10 days dedicated to cycling,
covering 000 km and total elevation of 00000 m.
DATES: July 7-17 2026.
PRICE: 3450 euros + 70 euro supplement for single occupancy.
Welcome to the Perfect Duo Tour! We start our
adventure with an airport transfer from
Milano Malpensa airport to a beautiful alpine hotel
in Bormio. Depending on your arrival time transfers
can be arranged between 12.00 and 16.00. Alternatively,
if the whole group is there the day before, we will arrange
late morning pick up from Milan central train station.
After delivery and set up of the
rental bikes and short ride to Cancano lake for bike set up.
The day of all days starts at 9am and we cycle
gently uphill to warm our legs. If you didn't guess
yet, there are no flats around Bormio. We ride
the legendary Stelvio, the road that many cycling
champions left their print on. A cycling heaven
through mesmerizing views of natural beauty,
look down and breath out!
Once we reach the 2757 meter summit we can
finally rest and recharge before we face downhill
back to Bormio. Our minivan is on hand for any
support. For the more adventurous of you with the goal
to conquer the double Stelvio will continue
down the northern side navigating the famous
48 hairpins to Prato. From Prato we briefly pass
into Switzerland for the 12km ascent along the
Umbrail pass with an average gradient of nearly
10%.
Bon courage to all those who attempt the big
mountains. It will be a day of cycling to
remember forever.
KM 100 - MI 62 | MT 3022 - FT 10227
Maybe we think we are tired, maybe we are, but
the majestic Mortirolo must be in our trophy
cabinet. It's 13km, with sections of up to 22%
that will make us understand that anything is
achievable, if you believe. Marco Pantani has
made a name for himself on this monstrous
ascent where a beautiful stele in memory of il
Pirata awaits us for the traditional photo. The
descend is no less challenging but we take it
from the other, easier side of the mountain on
our way back to Bormio.
KM 78 - MI 48 | MT 2530 - FT 8300
The Monte delle Scale, with your 2500 meters of altitude,
is one of the most panoramic peaks of the Alta Valtellina
From the towers of Fraele starts a beautiful mule track,
created in the years of the First World War, which in the
span of 2h leads up to the summit of the mountain passing
along some landslide ridges and spires that are very
reminiscent of the Dolomite environments. The mule track
climbs with fairly moderate slopes inside a beautiful mugheta.
At an altitude of 2200 the forest gives way to an exposed rocky
ridge. Helping us with some chains we pass the easy passage and
we find ourselves near a fort from the First World War. Once we
reach the fort we should cross it by following a fairly dark
tunnel about 30m long. In a short time we will reach the top.
From the summit the view towards the valley of Bormio is
beautiful, from this we can also glimpse in the distance
the Stelvio pass, the systems of the pass, and some valleys
and mountains present here. If we are lucky from the summit
it is also possible to admire the flight of some eagle,
or even if rarer than some gipeto. The descent will follow
KM 6 - MI 3.7 | MT 580 - FT 18160
From the first few meters we realize that we are facing
the Queen of climbs. A long valley floor takes us to the
village of Santa Caterina, where the road narrows and
meanders through the woods. Spectacular scenery accompanies
us in our climb up to the summit, passing the glacial lake.
We have arrived, the Queen is conquered!
KM 52 - MI 32 | MT 1497 - FT 4900
Welcome to the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
renowned for its dramatic and unique mountain landscapes.
This journey is designed to let you experience some of the
most iconic locations of the Italian Alps, including Pampeago,
Lago di Carezza and Passo Costalunga, in an atmosphere that
feels almost like a fairytale. Each day, whether hiking or
cycling, you will be immersed in stunning Alpine scenery while
passing through picturesque towns and villages such as Canazei
and Corvara.
The trip perfectly blends adventure with Italian culture and
lifestyle: elegant mountain towns, authentic farmhouses,
traditional cuisine and excellent local wines from the
surrounding hills. While riding remains the heart of the
experience, there will be time to enjoy coffee stops,
explore local areas and relax. Afternoons are dedicated
to unwinding at the hotel's spa and wellness centre,
featuring indoor and outdoor pools. This is a truly
memorable experience that combines nature, sport, culture
and relaxation in one of the world's most extraordinary
mountain regions.
KM 65 - MI 41 | MT 1925 - FT 6315
This is the loop that the whole world knows about! 4 successive climbs that are on every cyclist's bucket list.
Sella, Gardena, Campolongo and Pordoi in order, one after another.
We travel by minivan to Mazzin.
From here, the departure for the magic loop and return by
bike to the hotel.
KM 99 - MI 61 | MT 2350 - FT 7700
Today we conquer the undisputed Queen of the Dolomites,
the majestic Marmolada. Expect a challenging but scenic
route right through the heart of Dolomites with steep
switchbacks and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
Along the way, we'll pass through small picturesque villages
like Malga Ciapela and enjoy more beautiful views of the
Dolomites. Once we reach the top of the Passo Fedaia,
we'll be rewarded with stunning views of the Marmolada glacier
and the surrounding mountains. Take a moment to rest and enjoy
the scenery before fast descent back to Canazei, from where we
return home trough Val di Fiemme Valley.
KM 54 - MI 33 | MT 1760 - FT 5775
This sounds like a fantastic hike! The Corno Nero offers
breathtaking views of the Dolomites. Baita Pozzi is a
great place to start, with its cozy setting. Be sure to
take water and snacks with you on the way, and enjoy every
moment of the hike! Have you already planned how long do you
think it will take to reach the top?
KM 13 - MI 9 | MT 970 - FT 1805
Yes, the Giro d'Italia passed through some breathtaking
landscapes in the Dolomites, and the route you mention is
truly iconic. Passo Rolle, Valles and San Pellegrino offer
spectacular views and tough challenges for cyclists.
The route starting in Predazzo, with the three peaks in a
row, is a sight to behold, and the descent into Moena is
a moment to be enjoyed, for both athletes and spectators.
These passages not only test the technical skills of the
runners, but also create indelible memories for those who
experience the excitement of the race. Each stage becomes
a celebration of the beauty of the mountains and the sport.
It is definitely an experience to remember!
KM 92 - MI 57 | MT 2420 - FT 7900
