From Savoie and the French Alps, this cycling
tour offers an authentic experience through
diverse landscapes, history, and culture.
Riders initially explore the giants: the Col
du Galibier, Col de la Madeleine, and Alpe d’Huez
in France, the panoramic mountains of Piedmont,
the cycling paradise of Champoluc and the Aosta Valley,
and one of the world’s most beautiful lakes, Lake Como,
all while enjoying local food, wine, and hospitality.
Along the way, the journey highlights national parks,
breathtaking towns, and the rich history of each region,
making every day a memorable experience of discovery,
well-being, and Italian heritage.
Route Information
Volare crosses nord Italy on a moderate difficulty route, starting in the area of Milano, in the heart of its most authentic mountain, crosses Piendmont and finishing in the beautiful Lombardy, surrounded by iconic landscapes.

Col de Galibier
We will ride through the legendary French
Alps on the Col du Galibier, one of the most
iconic climbs in the world of cycling.
Challenge yourself on the steep slopes,
enjoy breathtaking views, and experience
the thrill of riding the roads that have
written the history of the Tour de France.

Col de la Maddaleine
We will ride through the majestic Alps between
France and Italy on the Col de la Madeleine,
an iconic climb often featured in the Giro d’Italia.

Day 04
Alpe d’Huez
We will climb Alpe d’Huez, in the heart of the
French Alps, famous for its spectacular views
and legendary hairpins. The small alpine village
at the summit offers a unique atmosphere, with

of the surrounding mountains. An unforgettable
experience for those seeking challenge, passion,
and cycling adventure.

Day 05
Col du Mollard
We will climb Col du Mollard, surrounded by the stunning
French Alps. The ascent passes through forests, alpine meadows,
and small mountain villages, offering breathtaking views of
the surrounding mountains.
At the summit, the pass provides an
authentic and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the
scenery before the descent.

Day 06
Col de l’Iseran
Col de l’Iseran is the highest paved mountain
pass in the Alps, with spectacular Alpine scenery
that makes it a favorite destination for cyclists

An unforgettable experience for those seeking a true challenge.
In the afternoon, we will depart for Susa.

Passo del Moncenisio
In the heart of the Upper Susa Valley,
the Mont Cenis Pass is one of the most
fascinating destinations for mountain and
cycling lovers. This historic Alpine pass

and a unique atmosphere where nature, sport,
and tradition come together. Around Mont Cenis,
iconic climbs such as Montgenèvre, Colle della Scala,
and Sommeiller complete an extraordinary landscape.

Colle delle Finestre
Colle delle Finestre is a legendary climb
in the Italian Alps, famous for its demanding

A must-ride climb for cyclists seeking one of the

Day 09
Col de Sestriere
Colle del Sestriere is a famous Alpine resort
pass, known for its wide, smooth roads and spectacular

home to important winter sports events, Sestriere combines
cycling history, sport culture, and breathtaking alpine views

Transfer to Champoluc

Day 11
Colle di Joux
Colle di Joux is a mountain pass in the Aosta Valley,
offering a scenic and moderately challenging climb through
forests and traditional Alpine villages. The route winds
gently along the mountainsides, providing beautiful views and
a peaceful atmosphere. A quieter and more authentic alternative
to the larger, more famous passes, perfect for cyclists who enjoy
nature, steady climbs, and hidden alpine gems.

Day 12
Glamour Cervinia
We will experience the unique atmosphere of Glamour
Cervinia, at the foot of the iconic Matterhorn, where
cycling, elegance, and nature come together. Surrounded by
spectacular views, high-altitude air, and exclusive services,
we will enjoy a special stop filled with sport, relaxation, and
alpine style. An experience to live and remember.

Day 13
Transfer to Colico
Welcome to Colico, on the northern shore of Lake Como, a true paradise for cyclists with mountains, scenic curves, and charming villages. The routes here tell the story of cycling, featuring legendary climbs like the Muro di Sormano and Madonna del Ghisallo, with breathtaking views that make every ride an unforgettable experience.
Day 14
Passo dello Spluga
We will climb the Splügen Pass, a scenic
Alpine pass on the Swiss-Italian border.
The climb connects Switzerland’s Rhine Valley
to Italy’s Lombardy region, winding through
dramatic Alpine landscapes of rocky peaks,
deep valleys, and thrilling hairpins.
Amid
forests and breathtaking views, the ascent
offers exciting challenges and unforgettable
moments, combining sport, nature, and Alpine
tradition.

Day 15
Passo del Ghisallo
We will ride the Passo del Ghisallo,
a legendary cycling climb in Lombardy, famous
for the museum at the top dedicated to Italy’s
great cycling champions.
The ascent is relatively
short but includes challenging sections, winding
along roads rich in history and charm. A true
must for cycling enthusiasts, where sport, history,
and stunning scenery come together in a unique experience.

What's included
The tour includes 12 nights in luxury accommodation (twin share), breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, guides and vehicle support, mechanical assistance, on road snacks and supplements, a daypack and bidons, laundry service for cycling kit, and group airport transfers.
